HOW TO USE SAP ASSESSMENT AND MIGRATION TOOL

For many year, Customers migrate their PO to CPI (Former name of Cloud Integration – one of capabilities in SAP integration Suite), they worked in manual way by migrate all ICOs to Integration Flow of CPI.

Reducing efforts of customers and help them take a good overview on their integration content in SAP PO with a rough estimation, SAP released new feature on January 2023, this feature called Migration Assessment.

PREREQUISITE

NOTE

Just only Process Orchestration (PO) version 7.5 supported with SAP Migration Assessment. With Process Integration version 7.3 (PI) not support by Migration Assessment Tool.

HOW TO USE MIGRATION ASSESSMENT

CONFIGURATION SAP CLOUD CONNECTOR

We need to configure for SAP BTP subaccount connect to ON-PREMISE where PO is in there.

CONFIGURATION ACCESS MIGRATION SCENARIOS

Add system PO into Access Migration Scenarios

In this step, we need to add system of PO which we want to run assessment tool. Get host and port of PO from Cloud connector. If Integration Directory and Enterprise Service Builder the same address, just use only one for both.

Create Request Data Extractions

In this step, we will run data extractions first to get information from PO to run evaluation.
